How is pricing determined?

Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute fit call. Exploratory ballparks on our contact page are upper-bound maps only. Small projects (≤4 weeks) get a fixed quote with discovery waived. Larger work uses a discovery fee, then final costs and milestones — and most real scopes land below the first map.

What's the difference between small and larger projects?

Small projects complete in 4 weeks or less: agree requirements, build, invoice 100% on acceptance, then transfer source/IP after payment. Larger work requires a discovery fee before Discover, then milestone funding against locked acceptance criteria.

What is the discovery fee?

Accepted Answer

For larger projects, a discovery fee is due before Discover begins — sized from the fit call. It is credited toward the project if you proceed, and fully refundable if either side chooses not to continue after Discover. Projects of 4 weeks or less have the fee waived.

What's included in the retainer?

Accepted Answer

Ongoing capacity for maintenance, features, SEO, or marketing — with weekly demos, staging visibility, and a shared backlog. Source and IP transfer with paid handoffs; we do not lead with shared repository access from day one.

When do I get the source code?

Accepted Answer

You own paid work. Source transfers on completion after payment for small projects, with each paid milestone on larger projects, or with paid retainer handoffs — not as an unrestricted day-one repo invite.
